The Kids' Lit Quiz is an annual literature quiz for students aged 10 - 13 years.
Quizzes are held in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom and USA.
The winning team from each heat competes in a National Final. National champions compete in the World Final.
The quiz was founded by New Zealand quiz master Wayne Mills, who reads enough books to write several thousand questions each year.
In 2017 one of the Keswick School teams won the regional heat in November and came third in the National Final in London in December. The team was: Katie Jeremy, Katy Hope, Ruaridh Dean and Arlo Barker. This was our best result to date.
The current teams are preparing for may be the last Kids' Lit event, as quiz master, Wayne Mills, is retiring after the World Final in New Zealand in July 2020.
